Ordinary women. Extraordinary worlds. Alpha males worth crossing galaxies for.
Born in Denver, Laila Delaci's family moved to the Houston area when she was just two, making her a Texan through and through. Today, she lives northeast of Houston with her husband and their Great Pyrenees, Ruger, who runs the household in every way that counts.
Writing wasn't always the plan. Beyond some horrendous poetry from her teenage years, storytelling hadn't crossed Laila's mind — until one night, everything changed. A young woman turned to her in a dream and asked:
She refused to leave. She followed Laila through her days and lingered in her nights, insisting her story be told. What began as one vivid dream became an entire universe — and gave birth to The Pleiades Eves.
Today, Laila writes sci-fi/paranormal romance filled with strong empathetic heroines, unforgettable alien heroes (in ones, twos, and even threes), cosmic mysteries, and the enduring belief that love can change destinies written among the stars.
Both of my parents encouraged me to chase this dream, even knowing exactly how spicy it gets. I only wish they were both here to see the finish line within sight.
